Cloudified Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery Flow

Topic:

We are creating Continuous Integration/Delivery system using cloud servers. When someone commit something, system will take it under different level tests. Testers and System Under Tests will be launched from cloud. This will enable fast feedback loops and cost efficient solution.

Tech Stack can be something like: Open Stack, Jenkins, Python, pyUnit and Robot Framework

Taking Ideas Sky High with Content Cloud Ecosystem Team

Topic:

The team will try out business ideas and develop application prototypes utilizing the F-Secure Content Cloud Ecosystem, CCE. The ideas revolve around crowdsourcing, user generated content, sharing and golf tournaments. CCE platform offers several APIs to work with: Python, JavaScript and raw REST(ful).

Enginio Team - Connect Your Application in Less Than a Minute

  • We are searching for max 5 developers with cloud application idea(s). The developers can use JavaScript/HTML or native Qt/QML.

Topic:

The team will implement cloud application(s) using Backend as a Service (BaaS) provided by Digia. Outcome can be any connected and data-driven application(s) which leverage the cloud-based backend,  for example, online games, image gallery or location based service. Target devices can be any from mobile platforms to desktop OS. Preferably the applications run in multiple devices to demonstrate cloud functionality better.

Second team arrives, The Spark team

  • People are welcome to join the group. Some basic knowledge of MapReduce algorithms and/or scala language are beneficial.
Topic: "Data-mining with MapReduce".
The team will test and develop new methods for analysis of software behaviour. The aim is to detect anomalies in large set of behaviour data and/or to group softwares with some similarity measures. The main tool for data mining will be Spark.

Topic:

Web service for live video transcoding. The idea is to develop a "web service" that would glue all the different components developed until now by PV, TUT and ÅAU in the CSW program but not yet integrated into one unique framework.

Call for participants: First, we'll need "Landlords", who provide an idea, tools, platforms, and support, etc. Second, we'll need participants, who provide their ambition and happy faces.
